Phlebotomy

The practice runs a blood taking service for our patients. Our Phlebotomist is Mrs Sallyanne Dilley.

The clinic is an open clinic (no appointment required - unless for special blood test)

The times are 08.30 - 10.30 Monday to Friday

Special tests (e.g. Glucose tolerance tests) are arranged through our receptionists.

Children

The practice will take blood from older mature children.

Small children or immature children can find the experience very frightening. In these case the practice will arrange for the blood test to be carried out by specialist phlebotomists at the Leicester Royal Infirmary
